Our Mission Statement:

The Chemistry Students’ Society aims to make Chemistry more accessible to all students irrespective of their programs while striving to alleviate the common fear and anxiety around Chemistry. To do this we host social events with all members of the department and academic events such as midterm tutorial reviews to help students prepare for their exams at the 100 and 200 level.

The CS2 wants to show all students that the world of Chemistry is a vast, ever changing, beautiful field of science with applications on the microscopic and macroscopic scale.

With that goal in mind we invite all interested Western Canadian undergraduate students to come and display their work this summer at WCUCC 2024 at the USask’s gorgeous Saskatoon campus.

Land Acknowledgment

The WCUCC organizing committee would like to acknowledge the land which we gather, live, study, and will host this conference on is Treaty 6 territory. This is the traditional territory of Cree peoples and the homeland of the Métis Nation. We are grateful to live on this land and we would like to pay our respect to the First Nation and the Métis ancestors of this place as we reaffirm our relationship with one another.
